About Duku Fruits(Lansium parasiticum)

Lansium parasiticum, also known as langsat or lanzones, is a species of tree in the Mahogany family. The plant, which originates from western Southeast Asia, bears edible fruit. It is the provincial flower for the Indonesian province of South Sumatra. Duku contains the benefits of vitamin C, which acts as an antioxidant. Antioxidants itself is a nutrient that functions to avoid the body from damage caused by free radicals. This damage is usually caused by the digestive process that converts food into energy in the body.
