    Rumdul Cambodia
    (Mistrella Mesnyi)

    Kingdom of Cambodia (Mistrella Mesnyi or Rumdul). Rumdul or mitrella mesnyi is a species of flowering plant in the soursop family, Annonaceae. In a 2005 royal decree by King Sihamoni of Cambodia, the rumdul or romduol as it is known in Cambodian, was proclaimed the national flower of Cambodia.

    Thorn Apple(Datura stramonium)

    It is a powerful hallucinogen and deliriant, which is used entheogenically for the intense visions it produces. However, the tropane alkaloids responsible for both the medicinal and hallucinogenic properties are fatally toxic in only slightly higher amounts than the medicinal dosage.

    (Byrsonima crassifolia)

    A well-known fruit through much of the Caribbean and parts of tropical America. Bears small orange-yellow fruits to about 1/2" wide. Quite drought tolerance. Frost hardiness unknown, though it seems to be fine to 32F. Trees grow to 25-35ft.

    (Grewia asiatica)

    It is a shrub or small tree growing to 8 m tall. The leaves are broadly rounded, 5–18 cm long and broad, with a petiole 1–1.5 cm long. The fruit is an edible drupe 5–12 mm diameter, purple to black when ripe.

    Fruit shape is round, because its local community call Mundar fruit or Bundar. Very attractive skin color red, resembling a Plum . Fruit mundar / round ( Garcinia forbesii ) feels a combination of sweet, sour and fresh.

    Chrysobalanus icaco, the cocoplum, paradise plum, abajeru or icaco, is found near sea beaches and inland throughout tropical Africa, tropical Americas and the Caribbean, and in southern Florida and the Bahamas


    Arbutus are small trees or shrubs with red flaking bark and edible red berries. Fruit development is delayed for about five months after pollination.

    Natal Plum(Carissa macrocarpa)

    Carissa macrocarpa is quite easy to grow. Its seeds germinate 2 to 4 weeks after sowing. The development of the seedlings is very slow at first. Plants cultivated from seeds are bearing fruits within the first 2 years.

    Buchanania Lanzan
    (Chironji )

    Buchanania lanzan is a deciduous tree which produces seeds edible by humans.It is known as charoli (or chironji).These almond-flavoured seeds are used as a cooking spice primarily in India.Buchanania lanzan is cultivated across India, primarily in the northwest.

    (Prainea limpato)

    The strangest but coolest fruit of Borneo island. It has other names such as Karon, Buruni and Ematak. According to the guide, Kesusu belongs to Jackfruit family (Anacardiaceae), a type of latex plant. Its scientific name is Prainea limpato.

    Velvet Tamarind
    (Dialium indum)

    A popular tropical fruit in parts of southeast Asia , with fuzzy velvet purple, grape-sized fruits. Flavor is tangy, somewhat candy like, and reminiscent of the tamarind. Unknown hardiness, but unlikely hardly to frosts. Thrives in humid, tropical Climates.

    (Quararibea cordata)

    Quararibea cordata (South American sapote, Chupa-chupa) is a large, semi-deciduous, fruit tree , native to Amazon Rainforest vegetation in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. It bears orange-yellow fruit which are soft, juicy, sweet and contain 2-5 seeds.

    (Theobroma grandiflorum)

    Cupuaçu (Theobroma grandiflorum), also spelled cupuassu, cupuazú, cupu assu, and copoasu, is a tropical rainforest tree related to cacao.Cupuaçu is most commonly propagated from seed, but grafting and rooted cuttings are also used.

    Landolphia dulcis

    Landolphia dulcis is a climbing shrub producing stout woody, perennial stems up to 10 metres long that attach themselves to other plants for support by means of tendrils. The plant is sometimes gathered from the wild for local use as a food and medicine

    Landolphia owariensis

    Eta grows as a shrub in the savannah, but when growing in the forest becomes a huge climbing plant, producing stems that climb over other plants in the forest and can reach a length of 100 metres or more with a basal diameter of 30cm.


Plant Nursery

Usually the plants grown in such a nursery are flowers or household ornamentals. A plant nursery can belong to a commercial establishment such as a garden store, or it can grow plants wholesale for retail sale elsewhere.
